Celtic FC Women can confirm that we have added to our coaching staff, with Stewart Hall joining Grant Scott's backroom team as an assistant coach ahead of the 2026/2027 Scottish Women’s Premier League season.

The Cleland native began his youth career with Motherwell, before spending time with Dumbarton. Stewart’s first step into management saw him lead Kilmarnock to a SWPL 2 title and a historic promotion from the third tier during his four years in charge.

Spells as an assistant coach at both Motherwell and Partick Thistle followed, before he joined Hibernian Women in March 2023, where he joined forces with Grant Scott to help secure the 2024/25 SWPL title.

Recently he joined up with Michael McArdle and the Northern Ireland Senior Women's coaching staff as assistant coach for their 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification journey, and has also been part of the Scotland youth set-up with the under-23s side.

He now makes the move to Celtic, where he will once again work alongside Grant Scott.

'Obviously having had success with Stewart in the past, I'm hoping we can bring that to this club alongside the rest of the backroom team.'
