Joshua kept race fit through training in Spain and Racing a few rounds with Norasport and Freetech in their Junior Cup, but he was mostly concentrating on the Spanish training with his NSF250RR at Cartagena and Almeria in Preparation for ESBK and BTC.

2025

Joshua started the year entering a few rounds with the Spanish equivalent of our British Superbikes (ESBK). This was purely to get a feel for the Honda and build on his race craft in anticipation of racing in the British Talent Cup in June after his 14th Birthday. Working with a newly formed team PRTGP Josh learned a lot about bike position and set up working with his data engineer from 2022 and he enjoyed some close racing at Jerez before bringing the Honda back to the UK for competing in the British Talent Cup.

BTC 2025

Joshua was invited to join the Dunsley Heat Racing team and from mid-year he entered all the remaining rounds of the British Talent Cup. Joshua embraced all the new race circuits starting with Brands Hatch. He has loved every minute of racing back in the UK and although he had a slow start his determination for every race weekend was inspiring. The team were impressed with his feedback on the bike and his ability to understand his data and what to work on. At the final round Oulton Park, and this was his favourite circuit of the year. Josh made some huge improvements showing his potential by running with the top group and managed his highest grid position of 12th place.

Currently Joshua is working on his fitness with running which he enjoys and has also started working with weights to help build some upper body strength.

2026

The plan for this year is to focus on the Moto4 Talent Cup and continue with his training and fitness.

Joshua attended the preseason testing at Donington and Oulton and was pleased with top 10 in many sessions. His average lap times at Oulton showed 7th place pace and this was on his training engine which is very encouraging for the season ahead.
