Storm’s BCB league fixtures confirmed

Hemel Storm will begin their British Championship Basketball league season with a home clash against local rivals Milton Keynes Breakers on Saturday 3 October. 

It will be the pair’s second StormDome meeting in two weeks, after facing off in the final BCB Trophy group game on Saturday 26 September. 

Tom Baker’s side then host London Cavaliers on Saturday 10 October and Bristol Hurricanes on Saturday 24 October, with the month also containing trips to Essex Rebels and Yorkshire Dragons. 

They travel to reigning BCB champions Reading Rockets on Saturday 7 November, where Ty Nsangu and Victor Olarerin will come up against their former side, before hosting Samit Nuruzade’s men on Saturday 13 February. 

The return trip to MK Breakers falls on Saturday 9 January, with meetings against playoff winners Newcastle Knights scheduled for Saturday 14 November and Saturday 5 December. 

Storm round off the regular season campaign by welcoming Worthing Thunder, before the playoffs commence with the quarter-finals on 10 April. 

The semi-finals then take place the following weekend, with the final on Saturday 24 or Sunday 25 April. 

The BCB Trophy quarter-finals will be played on Sunday 15 November, with Sunday 20 December’s semi-finals seeing in the Christmas break, before the season’s first silverware goes up for grabs on Sunday 24 January.
