WELCOME MARCUS DINANGA

Aldershot Town are delighted to announce the signing of striker, Marcus Dinanga, who joins from League Two champions Bromley.

The 28-year-old joins with an extremely impressive pedigree at National League level, scoring 20 goals for Gateshead in his most recent step-one season.

Marcus – or ‘The Bear’ as he is otherwise known – joins the Shots having most recently claimed a League Two winners medal, having made 16 appearances for Bromley during a wildly successful 2025-26 campaign.

Looking for a new challenge and more consistent playing time, Dinanga arrives as a marquee striker in Scott Davies’ side, with the manager having this to say about his new frontman.

“Getting Marcus on board is a huge coup for us as a football club after having a number of offers from other National League clubs. Jonah and I initially had a few options that we were considering, but once we sat down and spoke with him, it was clear that we only had one target.

“Marcus spoke about his experiences of playing at the EBB stadium and how it was something he really enjoyed. To now have the support of our fans is something that he said he was looking forward to.

“Marcus joins us with great experience having scored 19 league goals for Gateshead a couple of seasons ago and more recently winning a promotion with Bromley to League One.

“We’ve waited to bring another attacking option to the club and feel as though this adds to the firepower at the top end of the pitch which will be hugely important for us this season.”
