NEWS: Scott Rogers & Gary Warren Extend Contracts

Weston-super-Mare AFC are delighted to confirm that the management duo of Scott Rogers & Gary Warren have extended their contracts with the club.

Since taking charge as Manager & Assistant Manager in September 2025, Scott & Gary have led the club to their highest-ever league finish (6th), a National League South Playoff semi-final and the Emirates FA Cup Third Round for the first time in the club's history.

They have been at the helm for 47 games in total so far, winning 23 games and drawing eight while scoring a total of 57 goals.

Scott & Gary will continue to be supported by Technical Director Adie Britton, Goalkeeping Coach Steve Laker, Sports Therapist Taylor Cornish, Massage Therapist Amy Callow, Kit Manager Gordon Mackay and Analyst Dylan Reid-Sinclair.

On extending his contract, Scott said:

"I'm proud and excited that the club have asked Gary, Adie, myself and the staff to continue with our roles for the next two years. It was a fantastic season last year, one we can look back on and all be very proud of what we achieved.

"That being said, anyone involved in football knows you have to look forward and not back. 48 hours after our loss to Hornchurch in the semi-final, we were all focused on what we believe needs to happen to have another successful season in this very competitive league.

"The team needs to evolve and you can't stand still or ill-afford to make too many mistakes with your recruitment so the last four weeks has been exhausting and I'm glad I got unlimited calls and texts on my phone contract!

"We know the supporters felt their team gave their all week in, week out for the shirt last season. The support in return was absolutely top drawer.

"I can assure all of the supporters we have been working extremely hard, there will be no stone unturned and we will be doing everything in our powers to produce a team once again that can upset the odds and create some more fantastic memories next season."

Assistant Manager Gary said:

I am very grateful to extend my time at the club.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to continuing to build on the success we have achieved so far.

"I am eager to help drive the club upwards and support the gaffer, coaching team and players and look forward to seeing where we can get to”

Chairman Oli Bliss had the following to say:

"We are delighted that Scott and Gary have extended their contracts with the Club, they have done a brilliant job in their first managerial role together.

"There is a great stability at the club and that needs to start with the management team.

"Following on from last season, we are all working together to keep the club moving forward. I wish them all the best for the upcoming season.
