Bridgwater United Women FC have confirmed that their new home will be The Ethan Berry Pavillion, home of Middlezoy Rovers.

The agreement to use Middlezoy Rovers, will come into force for the 2026/27 season.

Following last week’s announcement that the club has concluded its time at Clevedon Town’s Hand Stadium, the move provides a renewed sense of stability and a strong foundation to build on after an impressive 2025/26 campaign, which saw the team finish third and narrowly miss out on promotion.

Speaking about the exciting new chapter, General Manager Trevor Jenkins said, “After a season of progress and momentum, it was vital for us to secure a home that aligns with our ambitions both on and off the pitch. Middlezoy Rovers offers us that opportunity. We are incredibly grateful for the support we received at Clevedon Town, which gave us stability at a crucial time, and we now look forward to building on that foundation as we take the next step in our journey.”

Commercial Director Bob Buckingham added, “This move is about more than just a ground, it’s about creating a home where our players, supporters and partners can continue to grow together. The move back to the Bridgwater area is vital. We are excited about what we can achieve now and are very grateful to Middlezoy Rovers for working with us in this way.”

Middlezoy Rovers Chairman, Craig Berry said: "We are delighted to welcome Bridgwater United Women FC to The Ethan Berry Pavilion. As a community‑driven club, supporting the growth of women’s football is incredibly important to us, and this partnership reflects our commitment to providing opportunities for the game to thrive at every level.

"While the footballing benefits are clear, this move also creates positive connections across our local area, bringing players, families, supporters, and partners together. Any promotional or commercial opportunities that follow are simply an added bonus. The heart of this agreement is about strengthening the women’s game and building a shared home that everyone can be proud of. We look forward to supporting the team and being part of their continued success."

Bridgwater United Women FC club captain Manfy Sharpe commented, "The facilities are fantastic. As players, we all want to play on a good quality pitch, have access to female friendly changing rooms and medical areas, and have a clubhouse that can offer a welcoming pre and post match environment. This new facility offers exactly that, and I am excited for the season ahead."

The move signals a continued commitment from Bridgwater United Women FC to develop a strong, sustainable future, with ambitions firmly set on pushing for promotion in the upcoming season.

The Ethan Berry Pavillion is just 10 minutes outside of Bridgwater, has a capacity of 2100 with covered spectator areas, both standing and seated. There is ample parking, with overflow areas too.

Further details regarding fixtures, matchday arrangements, season tickets and supporter information will be announced in due course.
