Updated Supporter Code Of Conduct
In line with the league regulations, as we approach the crucial run in to the end of the season we thank you for your fabulous support and support our newly introduced Supporter Code of Conduct🔴🔵
The following Supporter Code of Conduct has now been introduced
Respect for fellow supporters: Supporters are expected to treat other fans with respect, including refraining from any form of harassment, discrimination, or violence. This includes respecting personal space and refraining from abusive language or gestures. Fans are encouraged to create an enjoyable atmosphere without causing disturbances that might affect the safety or experience of others.
Compliance with stadium regulations: Fans should follow all stadium rules and regulations, including those related to standing and seating arrangements. Any instructions from stewards or security personnel should be followed promptly. Noncompliance could lead removal from the stadium, together with the requirement to agree to an Acceptable Behaviour Contract (ABC) and/or a club ban.
Responsible alcohol consumption: Supporters should consume alcohol responsibly and be aware of the potential impact it can have on their behaviour. Excessive drinking or intoxication that leads to disruptive or aggressive behaviour is not tolerated. Anyone heavily intoxicated may be refused entry without reimbursement or ejected. Drinking alcohol in view of the pitch and entering the stadium drunk are criminal offences. Aldershot Town Football Club operate a 'Challenge 25' policy.
Non-disruptive behaviour: This includes refraining from throwing objects onto the pitch or into the crowd, using pyrotechnics, or engaging in any form of anti-social behaviour. The Pitch is for Players and the Stands are for Fans. Supporters who are found to use pyrotechnics, throw missiles, enter the field of play, or disrupt the match will be subject to a club ban and possible legal action.
Cooperation with stadium staff: Supporters should cooperate with stadium staff, stewards, and security personnel at all times. This includes following their instructions, providing assistance when necessary, and reporting any concerns or issues to the appropriate authorities, such as stadium staff, security personnel, or the club's designated channels for reporting such incidents. The club has a confidential reporting text number which is 07990 055967.
Prohibition of offensive language or gestures: The use of offensive, racist, sexist, or discriminatory language or gestures is strictly prohibited. Fans should promote a positive and inclusive environment for everyone attending the match. This also includes any communication by way of telephone, email or social media at any time. Those involved in such behaviour could face a life time ban.
