Volunteer Matchday Steward – WTFC
Role Summary:
Volunteer stewards play a vital part in creating a safe, welcoming matchday experience at the Wyatt Homes Stadium! Working as part of a small, supportive team, they help manage crowd safety, offer guidance to supporters, and contribute to the smooth running of the club. In return for their time, stewards receive a complimentary matchday meal and the chance to be part of the club’s matchday operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a friendly, visible presence for supporters on arrival and around the ground
- Offer basic wayfinding and matchday information
- Support the safe movement of spectators before, during, and after the game
- Monitor allocated areas and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with simple matchday tasks that help the club operate effectively

Volunteer Parking Steward - Pre & Post Match
Role Summary:
Parking stewards help manage the safe and efficient flow of vehicles before and after matches, acting as the club’s first point of contact for many visitors. They guide drivers, support access for away teams and match officials, and collect parking fees where required. Volunteers receive free entry to the match and a complimentary meal, contributing directly to the club’s matchday operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct vehicles into designated parking areas and maintain safe traffic flow
- Collect parking fees in a friendly, professional manner
- Ensure access routes remain clear for emergency services and pedestrians
- Welcome and guide away players, team staff and match officials to the correct areas
- Provide basic information to drivers and supporters on arrival
- Support post‑match vehicle exit to ensure a smooth, safe departure
