Hemel Storm announce changes to their men’s coaching structure

As part of a wider review of basketball operations and future planning, Hemel Storm can today announce a reorganisation to the coaching team associated with the British Championship Basketball (BCB) men’s team

With immediate effect, Tom Baker will move from his current role as assistant coach into the position of head coach, taking over from Jake Rothauge. Tom will be supported by senior player assistants as well as external resources.

Jake is and will remain a key part of our club and this restructuring will allow him to focus on a wide range of other critical contributions that are so important to our continued growth.

Chairman Tony Humphrey commented: “In what has for many different reasons been a very challenging season so far, Jake has shown incredible commitment to Hemel Storm, for which we are truly grateful, and thankfully for us that commitment will continue. 

“We welcome Tom into his new role and look forward to supporting him as we embark upon the remainder of the season"
