Hemel Storm can confirm that Saturday’s game against London Cavaliers will be Taylor Johnson’s last at the club.

The American guard, into his third spell at Storm, has chosen to pursue an exciting opportunity elsewhere and he departs with the very best wishes of everyone at the club.

After leading Storm to four trophies without a single defeat in the 2022/23 campaign, Taylor briefly left for the top-flight, impressing in his time with Plymouth City Patriots.

He then came back to help Mark Clark’s side secure a second consecutive playoff title in the 2023/24 season, and his latest return to the club was announced in October.

Since then, he has averaged 23.6 points per game, ranking fourth across the division, alongside 7.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists.

He will bow out at the StormDome on Saturday, and the fan favourite would love to see it packed out to say his goodbyes.

He said: “Hey Storm family, I hope to see you all at the StormDome on Saturday!

“It’s my last game and it’d be great to see everyone there.

“Thank you guys for sticking with us and continuing to support us.

“As always, we’re gonna give you guys 100% effort and hopefully put on a good show on Saturday!”

Everyone at Hemel Storm thanks Taylor for his contributions throughout the season so far, and wishes him good luck for his future endeavours.

Tickets for his final game can be purchased on the Fanbase app.
