Hours: 2–4 hours on home matchdays

About Warrington Rylands FC Volunteers

Warrington Rylands FC Volunteers are a dedicated team of individuals who give their time to support the club on first-team matchdays. Our volunteers play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience for supporters, players, officials and visitors alike.

Volunteers are asked to commit to attending a minimum of 50% of home league fixtures across the season.

About the Role

Volunteer Stewards are the first point of contact for supporters entering The Quickline Logistics Arena. The role focuses on crowd safety, supporter assistance and maintaining a friendly, professional matchday environment.

You will help ensure spectators are welcomed into the ground, directed to the correct areas, and supported throughout the matchday experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with spectator entry and exit

• Checking tickets and directing supporters

• Monitoring crowd movement within the ground

• Offering friendly help and guidance to visitors

• Supporting the club’s safety and safeguarding procedures

• Acting as an ambassador for Warrington Rylands FC

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Friendly, approachable and confident

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable working with the public

• Able to remain calm and professional in busy environments

• Willing to work as part of a team

No previous stewarding experience is required – full guidance and support will be provided.
