Storm strengthen with additions of Sokoli and Baker

Hemel Storm are pleased to announce the addition of power forward Mergim Sokoli and Tom Baker, Jake Rothauge’s new assistant coach, ahead of today’s trip to Worthing Thunder. 

Sokoli started the season with Nottingham Hoods, having previously been on the books of London Lions. 

Standing at 6’10”, Sokoli is a dynamic power forward who will boost Storm’s presence under the basket and provide some much-needed depth to the roster. 

Our latest signing is registered and able to suit up against the Thunder this evening. 

Baker is a well-known name around the British basketball circuit, perhaps most notably as the former Oaklands Wolves head coach. 

He’ll support Rothauge as assistant coach and will be present on the bench tonight in Worthing. 

This evening’s tip-off is at 5pm and you can follow along via the livestats.
