NEW SIGNING: CHRISTY GROGAN

Aldershot Town FC can confirm the youth loan signing of Stockport County centre-back Christy Grogan, until the end of the season.

Christy, 20, joined Stockport earlier this year, after a ten-year spell at Championship outfit Stoke City. The dominant centre-half was a regular in Stoke’s Premier league 2 squad before making the move, and previously enjoyed a successful loan spell at Wythenshawe Town in the 2024/25 season. This campaign, he has made two appearances for Stockport’s first team in the EFL Trophy, playing against Wolves U21 and Wigan’s senior side.

On joining the Shots on loan, Christy told us: “I’m excited to get going in such a competitive league, the experience I will gain here is huge.” He continued: “I hope I can be part of the club’s efforts to turn the season around and hit the ground running.”
