Worcester City Women FC | 31 October 2025 | Copy link

City travel to Stourbridge on Sunday, hoping that they can push on following their derby day win.

Last time out

City played local rivals Kidderminster Harriers, under the lights at Sixways on Wednesday, and came away with a 1-0 win after Sophie Griffiths netted her first goal of the season in the 40th minute in front of 463 of City's faithful supporters.

Stourbridge travelled to the Sunhats Villas and Resorts Stadium to face Lincoln in the First Round Proper of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup and came away with a 3-1 victory thanks to a goal from Bella Martins and a brace from Caitlyn Deeley to secure their place in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Second Round Proper, where the Glass Girls will welcome Hull City to the War Memorial Ground.

This season

City climbed up to 5th place following their excellent derby day victory against Kidderminster Harriers on Wednesday evening, leaving them just four points behind the points tally they accumulated last season.

Along with that City has matched their total number of wins from last season of three by the end of October, which highlights the significant improvement so far this campaign.

Stourbridge, meanwhile, has struggled so far this season, sitting second from bottom on three points after six games; however, their top scorer, Darcy Cartwright, has four goals in seven games, so City will need to be wary of that going into Sunday.
