A huge clash awaits this Saturday as the Invermen travel to the BetMcLean Oval to take on Glentoran in the Sports Direct Premiership.

Both teams are enjoying great runs of form going into Saturday's game, leaving a much-anticipated clash. 

Glentoran are unbeaten so far this season, with six wins from eight Sports Direct Premiership games so far, their most recent being Friday's 2-1 victory over Coleraine at the Showgrounds.

The Invermen go into Saturday's game just one point behind the Glens in second place, having won six Sports Direct Premiership games in a row without conceding a goal. 

In terms of head to head between the two sides, it's the Inver Reds who have the upper hand in recent years, not tasting defeat against Glentoran since October 2022, making them unbeaten in the last 11 meetings between the sides.
