The Football Association has confirmed the club allocations for the 2025/26 season. Reading will once again compete in the Premier Division of the Southern Region Women’s Football League (SRWFL).
The following clubs will compete in the division this season:
AFC Porchester
Beaconsfield Town (promoted from SRWFL Division One North)

Badshot Lea
Oxford City
Reading
Selsey
Sholing
Southampton Women (relegated from FAWNL Division One South West)

The SRWFL Premier Division sits at Tier 5 of the seven tier women’s football pyramid, with seven other Regional Leagues – Eastern, London & South East, South West, West Midlands, East Midlands, North East and North West making up the constitution. The league itself was established in 1990. Promotion to Tier 4 would see a club enter into the FAWNL Division One South West where fellow Berkshire sides Ascot United and Maidenhead United play, relegation would result in a drop down to the SRWFL Premier Division North or South at Tier 6.
