North Shields FC link with Fan Base
We’re pleased to announce our new partnership with Northern League side North Shields, who have switched to Fanbase to improve their fan experience.
Supporters can now access tickets, hospitality, club news, and more through a single platform, available on mobile, tablet, or desktop. Tickets can be bought in just a few steps and saved to Apple or Google Wallet for quick matchday entry.
Fanbase also helps the club better understand and communicate with its fans. It offers tools to track fan activity, send updates, and support planning and growth.
There are also new ways for sponsors to connect with fans through the app’s newsfeed, match centre, and email features.
Fanbase Business Development Manager Kevin Russell commented “We are really pleased to to be partnering with North Shields FC. From my first conversation with Gary, it was clear that the club had a strong vision for the future on and off the pitch, whilst there was also real clarity in terms of them giving fans and club partners the best possible user experience. The Fanbase platform will enable the club to offer a seamless solution for ticketing, events and memberships whilst also further enhancing relationships, communication and their commercial returns. We look forward to a long and successful partnership and wish the club well for the upcoming season.”
Gary Williamson, Digital Solutions Manager, at North Shields FC said “Our new partnership with Fanbase Club marks a major leap forward in how we connect with supporters. The dedicated app puts everything fans want—fixtures, news updates, match highlights, and advanced matchday ticket purchasing—right at their fingertips. It’s all about bringing North Shields FC even closer to our community.”
Sean Mulligan, Head of Media added: “This app gives our supporters a seamless, real-time experience—right from the moment a fixture is announced, through buying tickets online, all the way to enjoying post-match content. It's a fantastic way to strengthen our bond with fans and elevate the club’s digital presence.”
