We are excited to welcome former Welsh International Chad Bond to the BOHFS! Born in Neath, Wales, Bond began his career with Swansea City and has since built a solid footballing journey, with stints at various clubs across multiple countries.

Bond made his professional debut at 17 years of age in a 4–0 victory over Rushden & Diamonds in the Football League Trophy. He was given a one year contract by Swansea and current Portugal Head Coach Roberto Martínez, who was impressed with his performance during a pre-season friendly, where he scored twice against Hamilton.

Throughout his career, Bond has had notable experiences, including a spell with CF Balaguer in Spain, Swedish club Östersunds FK, and Welsh sides Neath, Afan Lido, Llanelli, and Port Talbot. In 2012, Bond crossed the pond and played with USL Championship sides Los Angeles Blues, Tulsa Roughnecks, Oklahoma City Energy, Sacramento Republic, and St. Louis FC.

Bond’s trophy cabinet includes the EFL trophy with Swansea and the USL Championship with Sacramento.

With his irreplaceable experience, leadership and proven skills on the field, we are excited to see the impact Chad Bond will make not only on the team, but with the younger players coming through as well.

Please join us in welcoming Chad Bond to the BOHFS!
