Pleased to announce that our first signing in preparation for our inaugural Midwest Premier League campaign is none other than Emir Alihodzic.

Alihodzic spent four years at the University of Nebraska- Omaha where he became the first ever player to be selected in the MLS Draft. In 2016, he signed for the Seattle Sounders. He spent the next five years playing for St.Louis FC (USL Championship), Mladost Doboj in the Bosnian Premier League, Fresno FC (USL Championship), and the Union of Omaha (USL 1). In 2021, Alihodzic was part of the Omaha team that won the regular season and the USL Cup championship. In 2022, he was a regular starter in a historic US Open Cup run that included knocking out MLS sides Chicago Fire and Minnesota United before falling to Sporting Kansas City in the quarterfinals.

Emir brings all the qualities that can make The BOHFS an immediate contender in the Gateway South division of the Midwest Premier League.

”I am excited for the opportunity to continue playing at a high level and am ready to compete and challenge for the MWPL Title.”
